Believe ChicagoSM has sparked a new energy in the city. AT&T employees in Chicago, like Michael Kerby, are honored to have the opportunity to spread love and awareness about the struggles often faced by low-income communities in the city. What started as a local effort in Chicago to reduce gun violence and poverty by providing more job opportunities, has evolved into a company-wide initiative to get more AT&T employees engaged with their communities in new and impactful ways. Kerby, who is an active part of Believe ChicagoSM, says the desire to help is contagious, and it makes him want to be a better person and a blessing to somebody every day. Believe ChicagoSM has re-energized him and the community, and he doesn’t expect that energy to subside any time soon.
